1g awd front diff

Hey guys im in the proccess of pulling apart my transmission for a rebuild i have been following the vfaq guide and its been going great. i at the point where it says to pull the front differential out and i seem to be missing something. i have pulled the speedo gear out and cant seem to get the front diff out. any ideas why it wont come out??

Sometimes it takes just a little time and wiggling. Or a prybar and a temper. Either way, I see you found out.
