are SACHS clutches good

well, im getting my new clutch put in within the next week and my dad got me a sachs clutch, not sure model or anything but retail is 278 bucks and my dad got it for 135 w/ his dealer discount...i was just wondering if sachs is a reputable name??

SACHS is a very reputable name. They make OE and race parts for cars such as Mercedes and Porshe among others. I sell their clutches where I work and have had ZERO problems with them. I plan to put one in my car when I get my tranny rebuilt. They're a good step up from stock without costing $300+ like some performance clutches. Sachs also makes high performance and race clutches too.

i have it... its very easy to drive with that clutch... if ur only goin to do intake and exhaust mods only... if ur goin to do turbo dont even bother... dont race with it for like 1000 miles let it break in... believe me because if it slips...it happens once or twice....
