How to Install a VCE?

I searched, couldn't come up with nothing.

car is a 1g, just need to run this thing for the dyno, thats all.. car will be trailered to and from the dyno.

Im using a sheppard trans vce if that matters, anyone know of a how-to on in the install with pics preferable? I hear its only a 1hr job at the most, so maybe if someone explains to me what i have to do with this thing... Thanks.

All i know is that i don't have to remove the transmission to swap it in/out, but other then that i have no idea where it goes? Im assuming it replaces the VC piece, but how to get to that, or how to change it i dont know?

Thanks!!

Lift up the front end, Drain your trans fluid, Unbolt the end cap/5th gear/VC cover from the trans.

You'll need a pair of snap ring pliers to take off the snap ring for the Viscous coupler. Remove and install your new VCE.

Basically follow the first three steps from the VFAQ: http://www.vfaq.com/mods/Trannyrebuild.html

I hope you installed that small retaining ball back under the VCE. Everybody forgets it and you must have it to retain your output shaft.

Just checking......
