Hey guys wondering if anyone could help me with this. Cars a 97 gsx, clutch was replaced 3 years ago with an act 2100. The last couple months the clutch has been making a short sqeaky noise when the clutch pedal is pushed in and then a much louder sqeak when you let it out. It doesnt feel any differnt but it's pretty annoying. Im thinking maybe the tob but all the posts I'v found describe a squeal when the clutch is engaged. This definetly isnt a squeal. The tob isnt stock by the way, its the one included in the act kit. Anyone have any similar problems?

Good thing you mentioned that. Thats the first thing I was going to suggest anyways. Non OEM TOBs are known to fail, Im surprised you got 3 years out of it.

Is that the normal sign of a bad tob? Also whats going to happen eventually? Right now the car drives and shifts fine it just makes a noise whenever you push in or let out the clutch. Is something going to break completly and I wont be able to drive the car? Sorry if these are dumb questions but Im not even sure what exactly the tob does.
