I've replaced the entire hydrauilc system to my clutch. The clutch doesn't slip at all. So I'm assuming the synchro's are bad, and now even worse due to the aggressive driving last night.
It actually wouldn't go in 1st or 2nd at all for a minute, and was even hard to go side to side. But then working it back and forth, it became completely operational again. Just grinds a little like before. I will be replacing the fluid tonight with synthetic, but it could be low right now?
Since my clutch was fine for now, I just thought I would save up for a Shep tranny. But after last night, I am considering tearing it apart my self. Maybe just synchro's or whatever to get by for awhile longer.
How much am I looking to spend, and how difficult would it be?
Thanks,
Doug

Just go over to www.vfaq.com, and then in the drivetrain section there is a write up on a MT rebuild there..it might help you when you do it...:dsm:
