I took the car to the track last weekend and ended up having tons of problems trying to get the car into 2nd gear after a hard launch. 2nd gear synchro is just gone. Another odd thing that it did twice was pop out of first gear. It didn't do it during a lauch but it did it one time when I was backing out to go to the staging lanes and the last time it did it was when one of my buddies was pulling it on the trailer. The first question that I have is what is causing the tranny to pop out of first gear?
Secondly, I have been doing a lot of looking around on the boards trying to figure out who I am going to get to do the rebuild. I was pretty much set on a Shep Stage 2 because of the turn around time but I found a website from another thread (which I can't find again) that has another company that is doing rebuilds. They have really good prices and I wanted to know if anybody has used them or has one of their trannies in their car. The name of the company is Dogbox Racing. Here is their website:

Any input on them will be great. Also, any suggestions on anything extra I should have done will be great. I plan on running this turbo for at least the next three years so low 12's will the the extent of my times. I just don't want to spend this much money on the tranny rebuild to end up doing it with either Shep or TRE again in the near future.
