XTD clutch problem?

ok when I tighten up the Pressure Plate it gets really really close to the clutch disk springs. I got the Stage 1. It might just be my imagination but something isn't right in my clutch system, clutch pedal grabs right off the florr dont seem to have any pressure at all and I got the rod adjusted as much as possible changed the reservoir and Slave Cylinder. the PP fingers are so close to the clutch disk i can barely get a small screw driver in between them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you possitive that the hub on the clutch disk goes toward the motor? On my N/T the flat part was facing the flywheel.
