when ive searched for center differential all i get is a bunch of people saying theres is bad but no reason why or what happened to the rest of the transmission.
I tore my transmissions center differential on my awd eagle talon 96 and i am gonna go buy another center differential seperately im just wondering what else goes along with the center diff. I hear there is a bunch of metal chunks that fly around in the trans but i dont hear any weird noises or anything it shifts fine and drives fine (i had to nurse it home) but the front wheels spin some times and some times they dont so it cant be that bad of a tear im just wondering has anyone else torn theres and what else did you have to replace?

The case is steel and the gears are steel, nothing "tears."
