Just had the B&M short shifter delivered. Before I put it in, does anybody have anything to say about the 35% and 50% shift reduction? Any huge different in performance between the two levels or does it not make any difference whatsoever? thanks for the advice.

I recommend starting with the 35% reduction. It'll take you a week to believe you really are all the way into 3rd.
Switch the gearbox to Pennzoil Synchromesh, if you haven't already.

I've had the B&M short throw for a while, I love it! Once your used to it I would really recommend these shifter plate bushings http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/product.php?productid=17&cat=&page=1 They really help knowing what gear your in, kinda gives your shifter a "blot-action" type of feel. If you find that you would like a lower profile shifter in the car I'd suggest looking into a heavy and short knob. I just put this one in mine yesterday, yeah I know its only 24 hours but it feels so damn solid. http://www.cardomain.com/item/RAZRA117
