in the past 6 months, i've had an ACT2100 clutch and a clutch master cylinder put in. but now my clutch is giving me issues again. i lose pressure in my clutch from time to time, like when my master cylinder went out. but not as severe. only this time, when i push the clutch in it affects my idle, and sometimes kills the car. i know this because if i put it in neutral and let the clutch out when i come to a stop, it's fine. it also makes a ticking sound when i press the clutch in, on top of causing the idle to drop. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

hmm sorry to hear that, is this daily driver?
search "ticking clutch" and see what pops up, I rather not be the bearer of bad/good news :|

Well, since you wont break the news, I will. Those are the signs of the beginning of crank walk. Do you seem to lose clutch pressure on hard turns?

is this all the help i'm going to get? that it's crankwalk? that sucks. what other possibilities am i looking at? slave cylinder, maybe? there's gotta be something else. i had someone wanting to buy my car next week. but if that's the case, i'm going to trade it in on the STi i planned on getting. any other options?

Sounds like crankwalk to me. If you take the accumulator off and install a ss clutch line than it will drive a little better. At least that was the case with my walking car.
Take off the drivers side tire and hit the crank pulley with something. Have a buddy press the clutch while you have your hands on the crank pulley. If you feel it move than you got crankwalk for sure.

Who would let you trade a wrx for a crankwalked gsx??? I hope you are not going to lie about the problem, b/c that would just make you a dishonest person
Why would anyway allow trades with a car needing a rebuild??
