I have notice my shifter moves by that I mean it is in 2,3,4,5th gear it just all of the sudden moves to the side. And also are you suppose to be able to move the shift lever side to sde when it's in gear?

Its possible you just have extremely worn out shifter bushings. Is there a problem w/ your car shifting? Is it grinding/hard to find gears?

It's not grinding, but sometimes it's hard to find the right slot for third and fourth.

Well have you checked out the bushings in the shifter yet? I'd check there first, and then go from there. You can get a kit like this, or check here on tuners for them cheeper.

I'll check them this weekend and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info. :)

There is a small peice of nylon that goes on the bottom part of your shifter to act as a bushing for your rail selection. This part might have broken.

If you take out your arm rest and look at the setup, it's pretty much right below your shifter arm in the square part that connects to the base.
