Ok, so i know someone selling a 4bolt rear end for 350 with everything. Now the problem we have, is that he thinks it might have come out of a 2g. We def know its 5spd, but im in a real jam here. Ive searched all over the board and cant find anything. Will the 2g 5spd rear work in a 1g???? I dont want to make the 2 hour + drive out there and buy the rear if its not going to work. Thanks

No a 2g rear end will not fit in a 1g and vice a verse. The axles are totally different from the 1g to 2g, the 1g cars have 3 or 4 bolt connecting the axle stub to the outside CV hub, 2g cars the outer CV hub is one piece with no bolts. As for the pig its self they have different splines.

If he says its a 4 bolt rear end then its out of a 1g car.
