I'm stuck trying to remove this passenger halfshaft. I put it in about 1000 miles ago and now its bad. I got it out of the hub, and now im trying to get it out of the tranny. I cannot for the LIFE of me get it to even budge. I've pried and pried and pried. I'm getting past the point of being irate. Is there a puller or something I can get for it? I know its broke at the tripod joint now, so taking it to a mechanic is out of the question. Any help would be appreciated.

use two flat heads and push them in from the top and bottom. Tap each screw driver with a hammer and it should come out. The trick is to evenly pull the cv joint from the tranny

I FINALLY got it! My buddy wedged an air hammer chisel in one side up from the bottom. He got out to smoke, and I got up there with one of those pickel fork ball joint tools. I hit it in from the very bottom, and VOILA it popped out an inch! Then it was smooth sailing from there. Thanks.
