ok, heres the stupid question....

i need a trans for my 4g63t colt. my buddy has a N/A trans he will let me have. can i use this trans for a TEMP. fix until i get my new turbo trans. the car wont be beat on, i need a daily driver. now, will this work?

i know its a stupid question, so please no bashing.

Im not to sure on colts, but I know you can swap trannys from the RS/GS to a GST-GSX if I recall people doing that, but the colt it might work, not 100% sure.

I am pretty sure the input spline is different, and I know the axle splines are completely different.

I think you can put a N/T transmission on a turbo 4g63, but you have to use a N/T clutch/flywheel/pressure plate if you want to bolt it back together. I also think the turbo crank might have a locating dowel in it that isn't on the N/T flywheel, so you would need to grind that down. Again, I'm not positive, so check reputable sources.
