I bought a car today and the guy told me that the clutch was bad, he said it had gotten some fluid on it or some crap. The car Pulled out of the garage tho, it let off right at the very top of the pedel tho. It woudl only drive in first and second at really low rpms, and I manage to get it up to 45mph where I thought the clutch was working again and then all of the sudden the car wouldn't move at all. Now I can put it into gears when the car is running without putting in the clutch pedel. I'm losing sleep trying to figure it out, I need some help. The tranny was not making noise at all when driveing but I coudl feel the clutch slipping/chattering.

Sounds like you need a new clutch.. If its at low RPM's it seems like the clutch isnt grabbing fully just sliding against and giving you shit RPM. Whats reverse do? Same?

Reverse let out at the top also, and could olny move at low rpm's. It wont move at all now.

sounds like its not grippin
