UPDATE: prob fixed it was acutally my shift linkage

keep in mind i have a 95 gs with 132k miles on it

ok so..im driving in 4th, down shift the 3rd..then 2nd..i go from about lets say 80mph to about 30 mph in the span of lets say 10 or so seconds...i try shifting out of 2nd back into 3rd and i physically can't shift into 3rd...and what else is strange is that i can put the shifter into what seems 1st gear and it just falls into 2nd gear(i can pull it in and ou with using the clutch), so im guessing im stuck in 2nd gear. I think i might have blown the syncro's...what do u all think...and if possible can anyone tell me how much it would cost to get a new tranny if i did infact break it
thanks

Personally syncros are not going to cause all the problems you are speaking of. I think this is more of a shift fork or shift rail problem. To me it sounds like it is the shift rails since it is im multiple gears. Only one way to find out drop the trans and take her apart!
Good Luck! I just rebuilt mine and put it back in today. I blew up a shift fork and some other things!

Yes it could be the shift fork but I just replaced my man. trans and it did about the same thing and it was the syncros. Another thing thing you can check is the shift linkages sometimes a guy could have problems with that. let us know what it is i'm intersted to hear what it was.

anyone think it's possible that I grinded all the teeth off the gears..or could it be something simple like linkage???...thanks
