Im in the market for a performance clutch, but I cant decide whether to get the ACT 2600,sbr clutch, or the centerforce dual friction.I have heard good and bad things about the ACT but havent found any feedback on the sbr or the centerforce clutch.Has anyone ever tried the centerforce?

95 gst (7 bolt)(fwd)

Your going to fry the centerforce with any agressive launches or back to back launches. If you are running in the 12's its a nice clutch. Other than that, the 2600 is the way to go.

I heard that the act 2600lb will cause crankwalk. How much pressure does the cf dual friction have?Which pressure plate is better for my 7 bolt fwd?

If you want a clutch that last abit longer, from my experience, my Center DF last longer than the 2600. I had the DF in it was a smooth ride grips and goes. Then goes in the 2600 @ 8-9k miles later it failed and cost me a new tranny. The DF last me about 30k miles and I did a few hard pulls on it.

I did a lot of reading about the CFDF before deciding to get one (not installled yet). Here's what I found. "The CFDF needs to be broken in correctly. At least 500 miles of in town stop and go driving with NO BOOST (disconnect your wastegate actuator). If not broken in correctly they won't last very long. If you launch on them once it's broken in, it needs to cool down for awhile (10-15 min.?) between hard launches, and it will hold up ok."
