Everytime I launch and only when I launch it seems that the rears aren't putting down nearly as much power as the front and theres excessive clunking noise comming from the rear. Besides launching the car drives perfectly fine without any clunking or power loss. I'm guessing I might have a blown rear diff?

My 02. I presume that you have a factory VC as a center diff. It would follow then that the rear wheels won't see as much power as the fronts until the center VC begins to grab. This happens after the fronts have been spinning, then you'll see more power routed to the rears.

As far as the clunking goes, I don't have any hopeful help for you. Good luck.

It's hard to explain. The car moves with only half the power (maybe not half, but definately slower) and theres a major jolt/clunk comming from the rear starting at the begining of the launch till about 4k when it stops and continues to drive normal.

the clunking could be your driveshaft bouncing around in its carrier/steady bearings. two bearings that hold your driveshaft up in place. this happen to me awhile back and I replace the carriersteady bearings and haven't heard it since.

If your rear was bad...you would hear it all the time....but...you could always drain the rear fluid to see if it looks like metalic paint. If its good then just fill it backup with some REDLINE SHOCKPROOF. If doing the rear you might as well check the xfer case as well. It to would benefit from SHOCKPROOF.
