Alright, I just purchased my second DSM, a well modded 1997 AWD. I live in wisconsin, and the car was located in florida, so a friend of mine went to pick it up for me. On the trip he experienced a broken shifter and tried to start the car out in 5th. Naturally, that fried the clutch, said he saw smoke. After getting the shifter fixed, he says there is no engagement in any gear. So I know the clutch needs replaced, but I'm wondering how likely it is that the flywheel might need replaced also. The previous owner has an ACT flywheel in the car also. And is there anything else that may have gone wrong? My previous talon was an A/T, so I really don't know much at all about the M/T's. Thanks for the help.

Also, does anyone know any good transmission repair shops in the Nashville area?
