has anyone ever welded the clutch lever to the rod? did u buy the 1g heavy duty clutch pedal assembly bushings? how hard is it? ive got like 1/2" to 3/4" play. its not moving the master cylinder rod till about half way to the floor. no wonder it grinded. LOL

I had the same problem with my car. I got a new clutch master cylinder and it fixed it quite well. I got one from this company out in CA, it is the same one that is from the factory for only like 40 bucks shipped. I was amazed at the price and the difference.

i put new master and slave cylinder on it and still didnt help. this is the onl thing i can think of. that maby its not pushing the slave cylinder rod over far enough.

Your pedal box assy needs welded. Do a search for pedal assembly and welding.

Sorry, I don't have the link saved.

i found the link first. i just thought id asked who all done it before. taboo speed shop has some cool stuff to look at

I've done it to four DSM's and my GGSX. It helped with clutch release in all of them.

thats cool im hoping it helps me out. its like theres only half a pedal their. after replacing everything this has to be it. it grinded in first, second really bad and third a little. i even replaced the old tranny with one from a junk yard. does the fuel pump rewire work good?

is a completely rebuilt tranny from showdown motorsports for $1400 a good deal? he told me its almost imposible to break, double syncros in 1st 2nd and 3rd. hardend steel gears and syncros, they have one in their race car. at a junk yard their about $800 to $1000 dollars
