Longer Slave Rod Help....

Just recently its been really hard to get my car into any gear, while driving or getting going. I know all about the longer slave pushrod and what it does blah blah blah, but i need one sooner than i can get it from TSS. I've heard of people making them, i was curious if anyone knows what sort of material it can be made out of. I'm in Chassis fabrication at Wyotech right now, so metal wont be hard to get my hands on. But if anyone could help me out it would be really appreciated. Thanks

Regular round steel stock will work just fine for a temporary peice.

I'd only use the longer rod as a band-aid until you can figure out what is really wrong with your clutch system.
