alright here is the story... i've got a 1991 fwd turbo dsm with a bad tranny and a 92 awd tranny from my parts car (really beat up and now in a junk yard). i had the thought that the awd tranny would work if i just took the t-case off and didn't bother with it. well it fits and works but the diff in the tranny is tryin to put power to the t-case... which...isnt...there... is there any way to change things around for cheap so it will stop sending power to the back wheels? I'm only partially mechnically inclined so i cant do extensive internal work. but could do little things. i would really like to not take it out again. (theres been about 6 tranny's in and out of this thing) am i just doomed or what?? i dont have the money to be buying another tranny/ parts car. please somebody help me!!! :talon:

i dont think it would make a difference but was it 5spd or auto? mine is auto.
