2G F5M31 fit into 2G GST?

Does anyone know if F5M31 can fit into 2G GST (98')?

As I know, F5M31 is for Eclipse Spyder 2.4L and GST should have F5M33.

One of company (well-known) just update me that both can be interchanged. The ratio should be different!!

Does someone have same experience? Or use other tranny for GST? any bad experience similar to this?

Won't fit... only the F5M33 will fit 90-99 eclipses GST's
