What all can you do to a fwd tranny to make it stronger. I'm going to go w/ a kaaz lsd but dont know what to do for internals. I want to make it a lot stronger but have no idea what i can do. Most people have awd so more companys make stuff for that. Ne help would be great.

I've been looking at that and it'll prob. cost around $2500. Just wondering if there are any other options besides that. Shep fwd tranny is just a normal tranny w/ a rebuild.

You should give Jon at TRE a call. He can tell you what you will and will not need in your buildup. Your car is pretty much going to be a drag car right? Also are you going to slicks? Because on street tires I would not think your tranny is going to see the shock that an AWD would. The syncros are something I would definatly do. I'll let you know if I can find you other options. Also you might want to call magnus and check with them.

Greg, here is another thing to think about. Do you really want to be learning how to drive your car with all that power on a $3000 transmission? Someone told me once if your going to learn then do it on the cheap one that way when you run with a built tranny your not beating the piss out of it trying to learn to drive it.

We will most likely have slicks for NOPI. I'm trying to get a tranny to use for nopi. I'm using a stock one right now to get a feel for the car and everything. Doing it on the cheap side, like you put it. What we were thinking about doing is getting the parts from the distributer instead of the middle man, TRE.
