Need a little advice on 2g MTX rebuild.

Well I can't keep her in 5th, hell I can't put her in 5th anymore and 2nd grinds everytime so I know I need a rebuild. My question is how difficult is this to do to yourself? I've rebuilt motors w/out a problem so is a tranny similar?

Rebuilding trannies is more difficult than a motor rebuild. It's not impossible, but you should make sure you have the tools and the ability to tackle the job. Read through these links and ask yourself if you can handle each step.

Alright I'm seriously thinking about trying this out. Next question is where can I order parts. Like I'm going to want the double syncros for 3rd and 4th. Where can you order them from?

As far as I know, only TRE ( www.TeamRip.com ) offers the double syncro 3/4 gear mod. Where did you hear about it?

Stock parts can be ordered through the dealer. Try Partznet.com aka Connicelli Mitsu. They have a DSM discount if your local dealer doesn't.

I know shep does it too and I def want the double syncro for at least 3rd gear.

if i were you id send it to shep...relatively cheap for teh amount of work that gets done and you know itll be done perfect...solo mi opinion
