how would a 2100lb/ 2600lb pressure plate with an OEM disc fare as setup in my 1g.. i jsut picked it up and am in need of clutch replacement. If this is a good setup where can i pick up just the pressure plate and which is better for FWD 1g 2100 or 2600?
Thanks
John

If you need an OEM Disc, I've got a brand new one here, for a 2G. Same disc will fit 1G and 2G. For the FWD and mild hp applications, under 350hp, I'd just use a 2100. 2600 is a little more hardcore.

BTW, here's the info on a 2G disc pricewise:

MD747788 Disc+clutch $89.12 $67.91 $67.91

$89.12 list, $67.91 discount. I'll take $55 shipped for it. Brand new, never used. I was going to drop it into my 1G FWD car with a used 2600 plate, but I ended up buying a brand new 2600 kit instead.
