my frat. bro has 02 mustang gt all stock except exhaust. its an automatic so i always give him crap about it. but he always challenges me to race and i refuse cause i know he'll beat me.

heres what i plan on doin
exhuast 3" pipe w/ no cat
new intercooler pipes
greddy bov
intake (hard pipe w/ KN)

will this be enough to take him. if not what else can i add? nothing to expensive like a new turbo.

I don't know how fast that Mustang is, but you can get some nice power gains easily with a MBC, boost gage of course, and a fuel pump.

I depends how good of the driver he is, even with automatic you can #### up. if you drive good you should take him without anything.
But to be sure get k&n, 1gen BOV, boost controller, 2.5" exhaust (with a test pipe), boost it up, and a new clutch.
You will smoke him for sure. I smoke the living crap out of the TA, Cameros and so on. They got no traction.

A GT runs mid 14's with a good driver right?

GT with good driver with some good tires and exhaust can run 13.8/.9, but typically they run low 14's stock. They make around 230rwhp and 270 or so torque bone stock.
