Well after having my 50Trim and related components installed in my car and going to the track and working it out, I finally got the car setup the way I wanted and have the launch down.

I found it was a whole different ball game launching a car with a big turbo on it so I have my DIS-2 Two Step set at 5700rpm and it will make about 5psi of boost in the time it takes me to stage and the lights come down (which is good enough) It will make 10psi but I don't have that much time to sit at the light normally. Even with this I was able to pull consistant low 1.8 60ft times which could be better but I was happy with this for a start.

Anyways after 4 trips to the track and making small tuning adjustment over and over the car finally made the power. Another thing contributing to my car going faster is the fact that I did a boost leak check. If you read the thread in the Engine Performance area you will have seen my post about it. Regardless the car was running like crap and I didn't even really know it. So after all that here is the slip and a quick vid.. Couldn't have done it without the support here at DSMTuners :thumb:

My 12.5 Pass. Right Click Save As.

On a quick side note the guy in the Camero had his chest all out thinking he was going to kill me it was pretty funny. I was at a Domestic event running in their street class. I will say after the run though he did give me the thumbs up. Domestic guys are pretty cool once you earn their respect.

Setup:
Check my mod list but basically 50Trim at 21psi on Pump gas. Car was on heavy Konig Thoery and Potenza S0-3 Tires. Only thing removed from inside was my 12" sub and amp.

Very nice run.. I have a PTE 50 trim, and took it to the track with a full tank of pump gas unfortunately. It also started to rain, and it got a little slick. I still ran a 12.7 @ 107.4 with a crappy 1.90 60ft running fairly rich too. I bet I can push it to 108mph with a bit more tunning. It's an auto so it will always going to trap a bit lower then 5spds. I wonder what else we can do to improve the 50trims performance on pump gas.

12.7 with auto is good, though by the looks of your sig you have gone much faster (11.9 with auto on T28 and spray? damn!)

Please tell me how exactly you pull a 1.9 60ft in an auto? Do you torque it up or was it hitting the spray in 1st gear? My dad has pulled 1.77 60ft's in his Maxima Auto running 12.1 but he sprays 150hp right outta the hole. Im trying to talk him into an Auto DSM but he's stuck on the maxima's...

Funny Indeed!
So much for a reaction time. Good thing it wasn't a street race....

I used a 50 shot while powerbraking to instantly spool the turbo. As soon as the car gets going I turned the shot off. Otherwise It won't spool at all. Suposedly the PT TCs with a 4k stall are preaty awsome for big turbo spool up, and streetability, but with a $1000 price tag I'm going to have to save for a while. My best 60ft with the 75 shot was a 1.70 with a lot of tire spin.

Never mind street race, that video shows a whole second reaction time whereas the time slips tells a different story. Obviously two different races! The time slip race would have him ahead all the way!

It was the same race, the slips just don't show the dial in. I dialed a 12.90 and he dialed 13.40. I saw I was way ahead of him but knew I was onto my best time so I kept it to the floor and pulled that time. That slip is for that run. I had him long before the 1/8th which is how I knew it was going to be a fast run. I was only there for test and tune anyways so I didn't car, I went for it. Glad it did too.

In a street race he would have been done a long time before that too LOL..

Are you on the stock cams?

What type of FMIC are you running?

Why not throw in some race gas and turn it up to 23 pounds?

Yes im on stock cams. FMIC is a custom size Spearco. I took the 2-216 core and had them size it to 28 x 8 x 3.5 (instead of the 28 x 10.9 x 2.5) I just didn't want the extra height to mess around with.

I want to go as fast as I can in real world conditions, basically the same thing I run on the street, im going to do at the track. I will go and put in race gas and run more later on just to get a time, but thats all it is. I wanna be able to hit low 12's on pump gas with a setup that can be done on the street every day. Thats my goal.

On a side note I ran 12.59 @ 110 this weekend (same again.. yeesh) but I won my class at the track took home $200 and also pulled a perfect reaction time .500 LOL. Bet i'll never do that again.

WHats going on Jim. YOu should be very happy with your times. I dont know whats wrong with mine somtimes. I hit the same Mph or faster, and i have bi*** of a time getting it down. Im going to do a little work on my car, and bring it up to brad for some tuning. Hopefully I see you at the next NCRA or CSCS event. Again congrats on the times:thumb:
