mods: bcs mod, hacked mas, took air can off(i think i'll put it back on!), K&N airfilter.

other details: removed spare but also had 3/4 tank of gas(gas prices were going up:rolleyes: ) and drinks/snacks/books etc. I have 3000gt rims (heavy!) and turbo sport tires(shitty!):barf: Outside temp was about 105 degrees and had 18-22psi in the tires. tried launching anywhere from 3600-4500rpm always slipping the clutch, never dropped.

Best run
.567 rt
2.385 60
6.472 330
9.852 @72 1/8
12.774 1k'

best 60' 2.32 <- ~4100rpm
best trap 89.06 <---let the car sit for about 45minutes
I think a better tire/rim combo could get me 2.1-2 60' times and possibly a 14second slip

Thats almost exactly what i would expect actually, get an enhaust intake, fuel pump and boost controller

I was hoping i could have got into the 14's but i was still pretty happy considering that it was very hot out and my runs were usually less than 15 minutes apart.

After practicing my launching, i think i could pull off high 2.2 60's which could get me close but probably still not 14's.

I really didn't think my trap speed was going to be so low. I thought i could trap 92.

What do some of you other "nearly stock" fwd's trap at:confused:

With a fuel pump, full exhaust on 110 octane at 19 psi I ran 82 MPH, in my laser fwd. In the eigth.

I ran a best E.T. of 15.156 @ 93.25 in my bone stock FWD Laser. You should be able to pull a high 14.9x if you are really good at driving and the weather cooperates, etc. Let's get some more mods on that thing and see what it can really do.

sadly it was my first AND last time at the track. I'm selling the car because i just bought an awd talon

i think a little more practice(and cooler temps) i could have got a 14sec slip. I was trying to be somewhat nice with the tranny because it only had about 100miles after its rebuild.

:thumb: Hopefully my buddy will be able to buy my current car so i can drive it again someday.

I'll definately get at least some 14sec slips now. First i need to find me a dragstrip.

Does anyone know if there is a dragstrip close to Grandforks, North dakota:confused:
