i went to the local 1/4 track here and i went to run the car and it ran a 14.5 at best.....

my mods are....

act 2600 lb clutch
TRE race tranny internals
stock turbo-t25
walbro 255 hp pump
rewire pump
stock injectors
s-afc II
1g cams
plugs/wires--NGK
3 inch full exhaust--no cat---apexi
injen intake
uicp
1g cbv
turbo xs mbc
boost hits at 16-17 and drops to about 12

last time i was at the track i did a 14.3 at 95.45 mph without the s-afc II, 1g cams, tranny and clutch

this time i pulled a 1.9 60' and pulled a 14.5 at about 90 mph...every time id shift to second and sometimes other gears, my car would shoot a puff of white smoke......it didnt do it very often but it did do it....btw..i drive a 98 eclipse gsx

my acf settings were running about +2% up to +6% all the way up to 7k...this was set by someone i know ......thanks

it's probably to do with your safc settings. with a 255 pump on the stock t25 you should probably be running negative percentages across the board. i have a 255lph pump and 680cc injectors on the t25 right now because i am waiting for my egt gauge to come in before i install my 50 trim, I'm running -13% at idle and -22% cruising up to about -26% at open throttle.

Your next mod should be a logger. Monitor your timing with it so you can set your AFC right!

well my s-afc II fried yesterday so im picking up an s-afc I hopefully pretty cheap.....i had a feeling that my car was wasyyyy out of tune due to the slower track times....oh well....shit happens

same thing happened to me yesterday. I went to the track in march and ran a 14.1@95, Then i go to the track yesterday and run a 14.6 @88 was my best. All my 60' were 1.9, Just seemed like my car wasnt up to its full potential after that.

Did you ever consider weather changes Jeff? We both know the weather is pretty irratic in NE. I'm pretty sure that last time you ran it was relatively cool out still and it's blazin hot now... Just a thought...

Worst advice possible. A logger is one of the best mods I've bought for my car. The ability to get data has been invaluable in tuning my car as well as keeping everything in line because I can get CEL codes.

yep, you might get lucky by doing everything that everyone else is doing, but once you start tuning injectors, maf mods, fuel pressure mods etc, you NEED one.

Unless you just throw the car at the shop with an open credit card. Of course you can do that. They will be loggin it for ya then.
