Slicks/drag Radials

13" Bogart wheels fit FWD brakes.

Some 15" wheels fit AWD big brakes.

You can fit up to 28" slicks, but I wouldn't recommend going over 24.5"

Biggest drag radial is a 255-50-16 BFG. You will need to get creative on a 1g, and just a little on a 2g. It's 26" tall at normal pressure, but around 25" or so at "premium" pressures.

So you use the 255/50/16 bf goodrich comp t/a drag radials on the street? What offset rim and how wide? That will be the next tire I will use on my daily driver. Right now I am driving on nitto drag radials 245/50/16 with room to spare, although they do stick out just a little bit. If you are using them how is the traction in 2nd gear and what kind of track times do you have? How do they fit?

Unless you have an AWD transmission in your car, keep the size you have. The BFG's are too big for a regular FWD geared car.

How are they too big and what would be the disadvantages? I would really like to run the BFG's in that size. I hear the BFG's are a lot stickier than the Nittos.

Wouldn't the extra traction out weigh the taller gearing? I am putting on a bigger turbo soon and do not want to be spinning 1st , 2nd, and possibly 3rd gear. Maybe the Nitto 245s will be enough, but I would like the option to go up to the 255s if I need it.
