Pretty productive day at the track today. Ran a 9.84@138 and backed it up with a 9.68@138 w/ a 1.49 60'. The converter is definitely slipping so I have an email out to Mike at Sinister...hopefully we can get something figured out.

Wow that converter must be just killing you. You had me by 4mph in the 1/8 and I got you by 2 mph in the 1/4 and I had to shift into OD. Get that figured out and it should be much quicker.

turbotalon1g looks like you need a 6766 now. ;)

Yeah, it stinks that it's slipping but hopefully we get that sorted soon. I figured I was losing a few tenths as it sits today but there's plenty left in the car. AFRs were in the low 11s, max timing was 16*, link was pulling 5* due to some false knock, and it's only at about 37psi. Need to get my 9 second license so I can head back and knock that time down.

Congrats!!!! Very good work! Big improvement compared to last season. It will much quicker one you get another converter in there.

Nice job! I have a similar setup (6466 & tighter converter).....so gives me hope! Haha

Get that 60' down and it should go 5's in the 1/8th!

What converter are you on? The one Dave has his local converter guy do? Any track experience to can share about it yet?

Thanks for the compliment. The car has a good deal left in it so i'm excited to get back out there soon.

Yea I've have 1 of the Buschur restalled stock converters. I got the car back from MasFab today....he was doing the IC pipes and exhaust. Stalled it in the driveway and it got up to ~2300rpm and a few psi without nitrous.

Hope to get tuned in the next couple weeks and then to the track!

Good to hear. I can foot brake it to about the same but the 60 shot takes it up instantly. Very curious to see how the restalled stocker works up top and how it will work with the big power you're going to put down. I'll definitely look out for your updates.

I have a 75 dry shot installed right now. Just don't have the bottle in the car now.

What rpm is your 2step set at? Sounds like you're spinning in 1st gear.

2step is set at 4500 on the dynatek. It's spins a little but hooks quick. I need to do a longer burnout next time out and check the tire pressures as well. I honestly couldn't tell it was spinning inside the car...only found that out after I watched the videos when I got home. Felt like it was dead hooking... The fact that i'm running 7+ year old MT ET Street drag radials doesn't help either. LOL

That 75 shot will be more than enough to get you up on the converter.
