Here recently there has been a bunch of street car classes popping up at our local tracks. We decided to build a street car for my wife to race. Here is her first outing on 14-17 psi on a hta68.

The gears out of it. Swapped them into a 5 speed 4 bolt

No. It's a custom one my friend made.

This is the main class she is racing in. There's a few other random ones with some what similar rules


Pure street

Must Have Tags
Must Have mufflers
Single power adder for all combos
AWD 4WD anything goes as long as its street legal.
Must be able to be driven on street is what the meaning is.
If asked to drive to mcdonalds in hardinsburg you wont have to
worry about getting a ticket?

No programmable ingnition box, or any type of controller allowed
No traction aid device or 7531 box allowed.
Any street legal drag tire allowed no matter what as long as it has full thread
across the tire. Discretion of tech.
Cars qualify then head back to staging lanes for first round
Round Robin style Will allow time for cool down and bottle
changes while other classes run.
$20.00 entry 80/20% payout for winner and runner up.

It was her first time racing at the track. It's turned up a little more now.

The fastest car so far in the class has been a 7.0. Can't go to fast or they will start restricting us
