hey guys. i just visited my local 1/8 track here in san diego. it was a total blast n i'm definitely hooked. i met a lot of kool guys runnin' dsm's. we were tearin' ppl up there. anyways...here is my best time.

Reaction: .961 (i haven't mastered the tree yet)

60 ft: 1.977

MPH: 72.69

ET: 9.242

i'm really pleased w/ my time considering it wuz my first time out. i just wanted to ask you guys for some opinions. my car takes off like a rocket. i launch my X around 4500. my only problem is my top end. i just start to lose momentum n can't carry my speed as u can c in my MPH. all the v8's start to reel me in at the end but i have a big enough of a lead to hold em' off. how can i beef up my top end? up next on my list is upper intercooler piping. will that help bottom or top? i don't have a boost controller yet, so i plan on getting a manual for now. if you guys have any suggestions of what mods to get next that are the best bang for the buck...lemee know! peace.

hmm i would look into mods that help the engine response....if you can't spend alot of cash...that probly wouldnl't help top end speed much would you would take off faster...

i'm ordering a joe p. mbc real soon. so i'm just planning to max out my t-25 at the track. that should help me out a little bit. out of curiousity, do u have to have an upgraded fuel pump or dp to increase boost to ~ 15-16 psi on a t-25?

You don't have to have a fuel pump or injectors, but it's advised that you do.

Anyway, congrats on the time :thumb:

hey gsx_power, i'll be there next friday for the my first time, maybe i'll see you there. look for me in the red gs-t (pics in my gallery). though, in the rules, it says i have to have a helmet, you know where i can get somethin real cheap?

i won't be at Qualcomm this friday, but a majority of my team will represent. look for us: total eclipse. as for the helmet, i just borrowed one from my friend. it has to be DOT approved too. can't go to no local kmart n pick up a plastic bicycle helmet :) also, remember to have your battery tied down. if u don't they won't let u run.

i'll be running on the 21st and 28th of this month. Qualcomm is closed on the 14th. n remember to HAVE FUN!!! :thumb:
