11.4 @ 123mph!! stock 6 bolt and pumpgas.

Couple updates, 11.2 @ 128mph and 11.1 @ 125mph passes
Scroll down for details.

60 - 1.831
330 - 4.945
1/8 - 7.462
MPH - 96.98
1000 - .000
1/4 - 11.464
MPH - 123.06

New best pass tonight, also ran x2 11.5's.

This was on the stock 6 bolt, turning to 7800 and 94 pump with meth injection. Im using stock 17" wheels from a 98 Tsi, with junk tires. Boost hit a peak of 27psi, holds around 25.5 and creeps to 27 at the top of 3rd/4th.

Vid will be up in a few days im hoping.

Trying to get this thing into the 10's on stock motor and pump, this is full interior and full weight too! Mods in profile. This shep stage 4 is a great piece, shifting is flawless.

meth is probably around 80/20 mix. Im using the aem kit with the largest nozzle that came with it, not sure of the exact size. For the meth I just simply use methylhydrate. Its controlled by my EMS to come on at 3000rpm & 5psi, its not controlled progressively. I see at most 0.8-1.0V of knock using a 2G sensor, which is a very safe level of knock.

IAT's are never more than 10deg F above ambient.

I really have no tricks, Im not even that great of a driver to tell you the truth. Where im running the car is a brutal track, everyone always runs 2-3 tenths slower and a few mph slower than at another local track, which is where im going next weekend, but in competition as long as everything is equal its all fair.

I plan to enter the car in a canadian drag racing street car event, must run full interior, full exhaust street tires and no faster than 11.5 so hopefully I can get this thing dialed in to run consistant 11.50's.

Thanks.

car went 11.2 @ 128 very quickly after a few changes. still stock motor and same boost level, I made a half a pass on 30psi which Is what I will up the boost to next time out, on 30psi I saw only 1.0V of knock and the car was hauling.

Also backed the new trap with a 11.5 @ 128 had a bad launch spun too much and bogged into 2nd, I was at a local dsm event and placed 2nd.

Eric.

I did a 11.1 @ 125 last night.. 1.68 sixty. I got some new tires, made a couple passes to get used to them, 11.5 and 11.4 and the track guy gave me hell because i have no cage.. so I did some tuning got 31psi dialed in, and than turned it down to 29 psi and ran the 11.1 @ 125 but it wasn't the cleanest pass of my life, than they kicked me off.

should do 10's easily on 31psi with a good clean pass. Atleast my 60's are in the 1.6 range now, Id like some 1.5's.

Oh yes turbo is a t3 bw s258 0.70a/r

EDIT: This was with the exhaust on the car, the 11.2 @ 128 pass was with no exhaust, plus it was very hot and humid last night.. the 128mph passes were at a different track with ideal weather.

Nice runs!! I turned up my boost and it gave me better trap speeds but didn't give me a better et! Just spinning too much. So got some m/t 24.50x8x15's on the way! Hope to get low 11s with the drag tires. I was going to get drag radials, but same price as full drag tires, so i went with drag tires insted. Good luck on getting 10s! Im going to have to run more boost then you to get even close to a 10s pass.

What were you running with the setup now? how much power also? I ran and 11.7 at 121 @25psi. spun for a sec off my launch but then hooked well. Not to mention that I have all season tires on lol car. hope to break 10's with street tires.

OP, Those are some nice runs. Good luck, and what's your setup now?
