11.471@124.24 on FP3065
Hello everyone,
Final trip to the track for this year and the car went 11.471@124.24mph. I managed a 1.65 60 foot This was at 32psi on the Fp3065 with 100octane low lead and water/meth injection. Car weighs 3240 with me in it. if anyone wants to see a log from dsmlink let me know. Im pretty happy with this time for now but i know there is lots left in the car with a few more tweaks.
Here is the timeslip from yesterday.

congrats on the 11sec pass bud. You really should be going quite a bit faster though. Hell I have customers on T04E 50trim turbo chargers running pump has (27psi) + meth injetion running 11.32@128. You should be making between 470-530whp with that type of configuration.

Congrates on the slip
I think theres defently more to be had, there's a local around here who took his 1g to 11.00 @ 131.73mph with pump gas & meth on his 3065. He's also hit a best mph of 136, but I think he's just on typical all season radials, so the car spins through the first two gears. If he's done weight reduction, its very minimal, think he said his weight with driver was 3250. Mortor is all stock with just BC 272 cams. Though the car may be abit of a freak, I believe he went 11.6 at around 118 on the evoIII on pump & meth as well
He says he wants to see 140 mph traps next year & to tell you the truth I won't be that surprised if it happens

Your losing some power man. I trapped 120 mph on a mere 20 lbs on my 3065. Have yet to even get into the sweet spot. What elevation are you at?

Wow I can't believe people are critiqueing (sp?) a mid 11 secind run @124. That car is moving, congradulations on the sweet set-up and runs. I need to learn how to get my car to cut 1.65 60's and I'd be set. Post a video if you have it

I second that!
I was also wondering how you captured the log. I'm looking for a solution to log while racing (drag or autox), but don't want a laptop stand.
Nice run, by the way

Congrats keep it up, the biggest thing for me is lack of track time.
I went 11.7@120 on a E316G, full weight 1g. I see you picking up some more speed with that setup.
Good luck.

hey guys..sorry i have been pretty busy and havent been on here much.
The car is running 235/40/17 Falken Azenis.
I did not degree the 280's which i think is a part of the problem. I also would like to get a SMIM.
Elevation is 1700 feet at that track.
Im sure something is holding it back but im not sure what. Its driving me crazy. I think with a SMIM and degreeing those cams i should pick up 50hp easy. Also my clutch was being weird and not letting me shift very fast. I think it was dragging at high rpm so with faster shifts im sure it will run 11.20's at 127-128. 80-100mph times where around 1.65 if i remember. ill post the log from dsmlink.
EDIT: knock sensor was disabled. Couldnt get repeatable results AT ALL so we tuned with a chassis ear. ALSO, i had the lap top strapped to the passenger side floor and would just start it logging as i left the staging lane.

here are a few vids. Sorry i dont have one of the fastest run but these are ok.
This one the timing clocks were set wrong. i got a 1/4 mile mph and an 1/8 mile time. lol
This is a decent launch but the guy filing stopped half way through...lol Notice the eternity it takes me to shift the car. Last year reving to 7000 it would sound like an auto i could shift so fast. But now either the synchros are VERY tired or the clutch is dragging. Time for a twin disc and AL flywheel i think :P
Just for fun......this is my buddys 1g and another friend of mines integra. 1g did a best of 11.11 at 132mph and the teggy did a best of 11.18 at 140.89mph!!! can you say traction problems!!!!!
