The motor is built and ready to go but I still have to put the cage in. I am hoping to have it done before the first of the year but I will have to see how things go here.

As for the CRX we have not had a chance to take it back to the track. It is ready to go but once again my customers come first.

The clutch I was running was an act 2600 and now running an act 3200.

I use a 120 shot off the line and another 120 in second gear.

I have tried all tire sizes but the 26’s seem to be the best. I have 28 but they are not allowed in the class that I was running in. The 24’s and 25’s wouldn’t hold more than a 60 shot in first gear so I would not recommend them.

Short times? Not sure what you mean by this.

The Spyder is my car also it has the same setup as my racecar but it has a 160 shot with a 2.4 instead of a 2.0. I have also converted it to an AWD but that bitch is heavy. That’s the main reason why I would like to see what a lighter AWD will do with the same setup.

The silver car is also mine but my tech drives it for me. The video you saw was the first time Jose ever drove the car. Since then he has touched a very high ten.10.97 at 131mph but he is only on a 200 shot. That cars setup is a bit different as it has only a built 2.4 short block with a stock head.

I trying to get my girl in a car next I bought a wrecked auto GST that I am going to put her in. We will do everything the same but stay an auto for her. This is still a bit of time away because I would like to finish the AWD first.

So the plan is to

Have me in the AWD racecar
My girl in the auto Eclipse
Jose in the gray Eclipse
My brother in the CRX
My dad in my black FWD Eclipse

But we will just have to see how it goes.
Yeah, how did you get the 3200 and how is it holding up for you? Could you get another one? I have a twin disk, but I really hate the way they sound. It's not in my car, but I brought it for the car. My dp kit, is setup for 175 shot right now. I still have a single fogger setup in my room. Altogether that's 250 hp worth of spray im willing to dish at the motor. My nitrous runs on it's own fuel system. Your car is amazing, please keep us updated on your progress. Hopefully soon, i'd be able to finsh my car to post the times.

How long has your motor lasted under these conditions (miles, or passes)?
What have you broken as a result?

I get the clutches from my vendors and I have a few on hand. I have only made 4 passes on it but so far it has shown to hold the power ok.

My first built motor lasted 7 years and had 483 miles on it and every mile was at the track. So I would say it had more than 400 passes on it. Unfortunately the company that assembled the motor didn’t keep to their word and sold me a ground crank which I feel resulted in a spun journal bearing.

Since then I started assembling my own motors. It’s hard to trust people these days. The funny thing is my stock motor lasted 4 years and made more passes (over 700) than my built one without any issues. Although I didn’t use more than 140 shot on my stock motor and my race motor has had as much as a 260 shot.

In the past 10 years I have not broken much I must say I have been lucky.

1. burned a valve.
2. broken 3 transmissions.
3. one axel.
4. 9 clutches.

I know this might sound weird. It seems to be nitrous is so much easyer to deal with then a 35+psi, big turbo car? I was so scard of trying it, untill I read up on your car. My friend just got hit setup together (stock motor, small 16g, 150 shot, and dsmlink). His car just feels crazy, and best of all it looks like a stock car and everything is hidden. His car could of gave just about any of my cars, a run for it's money. His car maybe had a 1/10 of the money into it. His car is a single fogger but it's packs a hell of a punch.

If you're talking about me, all the cars I setup run on a seperate fuel system. It is, if nothing more. Alot easyer to tune and far less confusing.

sounds like a whole lotta fun. I was planning to keep the 14B on there and run a large 2 stage setup, but I want to be fast when I don't have the bottles full. That way if I run into a corvette on the street I can beat him or at least keep up with him, and beat everyone else once the bottles are full. I'm looking forward to tracking the car in November at the north vs. south west coast shoot out over in bakersfield. I hope to have a lot more done to the car by then and maybe even hit a 10 second time slip on the stock motor. Of course I'll get kicked off the track for that since I don't plan on putting a roll cage in the car. Having a cage gives away too much when your trying to hustle a high dollar street race with trailer queen domestics.

My Talon has always been fast but I've never taken this one to the track because of the hassel of it all. But I'm just tired of hearing all these honda guys in town talking about how their 11.7 proves that they're the fastest imports in town. So now I'll just have to make 1 pass at full bore and save the time slip to shut them up. They won't race me in the street because I'm awd so I just have to do this I guess. If I were a Honda guy I would be pissed that I'm never fast unless I have slicks and a tacky track. But hey....... to each their own.

Way off topic, however some cars do very well on the street with there FWD setups. Most of the fastest fwd cars in the the US come from my area. Jason Hunt, Mat Keller, and Norris P just to name a few. Look at the leaders of what used to be power street by NOPI. My friend Rick recently went 9.82 at 151 on D.O.T tires with his civic. BonerBen on this board swicthed to the Honda came and makes 10.30s @ 145 on D.O.T tires. My Friend Rogers owns the fastest prelude in the country, and he's been 10.60s @ 142 in sfwd trim. Street racing is Baltimore is always for "money". I've personally seen all of them race at one point in time on the street, and there cars actually hooked. I hope you don't get hustled thinking FWD car aren't shit. You can PM me if you want.

Sick, your dyno graph shoots straight up, the torque curve looks intense I bet that car knows how to put some heads back in the seat. I think I rather ride in this car on nos over a equal powered dsm with say a 35r for example.

Id like to see what this car can do with a E316g!!!
