Whats up everyone? Man i have been out for a minute. Been through a couple DSMs finally settled down on the latest, she'll be with me for a while.
Snagged a 1991 Galant VR4, prebadged, 88k original miles. VR4/Mitsubishi racing pioneer's old car. This is the old car that Rob who owned Mofugas built.
Bought it as a shell, i mean SHELL, nothing, no wiring, fuel or brake lines, no glass or interior. Just a cage and a tilton dual master setup. Its come a long way and will post pics later but this coming season i will be venturing out and aiming high. 10's or bust. Here is the mod list. If there is anything, I mean anything that you guys feel like suggesting please do, but if you are going to dog my work and bash me than save it. i have worked too damn hard for over a year in a cold ass garage to take crap from some hater.

I plan on getting a stronger tranny, stronger clutch and i might switch back to a ceramic coated 1g intake manifold. Possibly water injection.
I am still deciding on tires, debated on going with draglites but that'll be in the future. This was a well thought out setup IMO. But i want to get it together in time for an "All Boost" event at GLD. I am the one of 2 imports signed up everything else is a GN or boosted LS1 or 5.0. the other import is a big boost MKIV supra. so this should be fun.
I dont think 475awhp is out of reach for this car and 10's are feasible in my eyes especially because i bet the car weighs 2700lbs with me in it.
Glad to be back!

LOL, yeah i dont have any good pics of the car yet, focusing on getting it together, will take some tomm.
motor is coming out, putting helicoil in 2 bolt holes (axle bracket) and motor is going back in tomm.

the motor is in my avatar. thats before i paint the valve cover! handicap blue FTMFW!

thanks man, working on getting a differant FMIC setup so the big spearco might go up for sale. pics arent loading for some reason. will try agian later.

Heh I like the last pic best. The car is only half there it looks like, granted it is the good half. What it must feel like when you first get it running and nothing is wrong with it, and knowing you have all that power, and having to let it break in for the first few miles..

Yeah i cant wait. Although motor is coming out, head is coming off, double checking head surface, stock intake goes back on.
Hopefully will be getting a 35r setup and ETS FMIC kit soon. Will also be running lines off of the valve cover to the catch can.
Trying to figure out how to strap brake lines and fuel lines to bottom of car, i have summit insulated fuel clamps but dont know how to fasten them yet. Nor the brake lines.
If you guys have any suggestions that would be awesome.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!
