Bracket racing times

For those of you who have done some bracket racing, what's the closest you've come to breaking out? What's the closest you've come to breaking out and lost? I had a really close race and I'm wondering if it's common. Here it is, 3rd run I dialed a 15.25 (don't laugh, it was stock) and hit a 15.322, 0.072 seconds over. Next race I kept the 15.25 dial and ran a 15.283 and lost! I though that was so cool how the other guy hit his dial in so close.

I have hit my time right on before Im usally about 0.032 or lower off my time. I lost a race being 0.032 off before and it was because of bad reaction time.

Yeah, I lost the second race because my reaction time was only 0.659 to his 0.637 RT. Total M.O.V. was 0.016 sec. That's pretty close to me, but this was my first season in bracket racing.
