This was my first time with the Talon at the strip yesterday and I was pretty happy since I wanted high 13's and I got it. I only made 2 passes since it was so packed. I was happy since I never launched an awd car before in my life. We are at 5,600ft above sea level

I was thinking next week I should run open down pipe and raise the boost to 20 with 110 trick? Whacha think

Congratulations man! IMO don't just dump race gas into your car and expect to have a healthy car for your next track day. I suggest going slowly with your mods and you'll then see lower ET's and higher traps. Remember man, mod right, mod once!

damn AWD, I wish I had a 1.8 60 ft.. I'd be in the 12's !!!

wow for what you have thats pretty good considering your at 5600ft above(btw where the hell is that?)

also i agree with black just adding race gas wont really help unless you have something to tune your fuel/air with.

Albuquerque New Mexico land of dust. Cool thanks for the tips what do you guys think about open downpipe at the track? Will that help or no since I have a full exhaust

I don't think that dropping a 3" cat back system will net much of a gain to make it worthwhile. Especially if you are running a test pipe already. I would say next you should look for some injectors, and something to control them. I'm not sure on the denso 150 but when I upgraded my fuel pump I also added a fpr. Just something to look into.

I haved a 255 but I am not going to install it until I get a FPR and run some SS lines. I can't decide on injectors until I decide on a turbo. :D

I am the same way. My thoughts are thoughif i'm not going to build a drag only car or a monster that isn't really attainable right now then the choice is already smaller. I most likely won't go past 400hp on my current talon so 660's would be a safe bet. They can be tuned with a piggy back setup. If you were looking at a 16g setup i think you can get away with 550's. To my understanding 550's with a 16g is like the stockers on the 14b though. This is what i've read and I don't have the hands on experience so take it for what it's worth. Right now I'm looking at an intercooler and larger injectors. Probaly a supra smic to keep it sneaky. My car is just a in rough shape so it's a pretty decent sleeper aside from the shift light and the 3" flow through no cat exhaust. eh eh
