Sacramento,
Okay, the last time i went drag racing my best time was a 15.17 at 92 mph, the 60ft times of 2.1. this time i went my best was a 14.94 at 88.9 mph and 60ft time of 1.9. i was wondering if somebody could tell me why did my E.T. go down and mph drop. My car is an all stock 95 gsx.

Yeah, but how did the MPH drop? I always thought if you got off the line quicker you would get slightly higher traps. Unless his car just isn't making the same power as last time?

ET is driver dependent. Better launch would almost guarantee better ET (if you dont screw up along the way) but trap speed is how much power your car is making. Usually trap speed is pretty consistent +-2mph but ET will vary widely depending on how well you launch and drive down the track.

The car seem to be making less HP than the last time to the track but it could be due to many reasons. Temperature differences, IC heatsoak after a few runs, state of tune (boost leak, etc), etc.

hmmm did you check your tire pressure ? it might have been lower than the other time you raced. lower tire pressure means better traction which means lower 60ft times lower et's and since the tire pressure is low you will probally have a lower mph too. that could be a factor.
