ok so i can get a great deal on a set of Mt 26x8 slicks on some 15" steal rims

will they rub or will i run in to any problems using them i tryed to search but came up with nothing any help would be great thanks guys

We run 26X9.50-16s on our 1Gs. I would reccomed some kind of coil over so you can cut the spring perches in the front for clearance. But if you care cheap you can do some clearancing to them and make it work.

how would i do that i dont know what clearancing is

and about how fare out on the sides would they stick ?

We have them mounted on stick wheels and they do not stick out at all. WHen we ran them o stock springs and shocks whe has to weld a pice of steel on the lip to make sure the spring was theld in place then beld the spring perch up away from the tire. They grow going down the track and they where rubbing at the big end. They work very well, car is cutting 1.4s and running 9.79@141, about to throw a set on my 5 speed car this weekend and get a good et out of it.
