2.514 was my fastest 60

now these were with 205/50/16 bfg traction t/a with 75% thread airred down to 22psi

im almost stock and this run was at 15psi

most the day i was slipping the clutch at 3.5k the one time i dropped the clutch i hit a 2.619 but hit a 16.6 run

how else can i work on my 60ft times?i made 8 runs today and couldnt get anywhere near a 2.2(which i wanted to hit) i know if i hit that ill be in the 14's

Keep practicing, eventually you should be able to do it. I dont slip the clutch at 3500, I drop it. But that works for me.

yeah man, its all about the launch. i do what you do. i slip it at about 3000. i have trouble launching it hard too. my first time at the track was sunday and my best time was 15.1@ 92mph, at 14psi. my 60ft times were like yours. like i said man its all bout the launch. gotta improve that reaction time too boss. good luck man. :dsm:

Try different things, I used to be FWD guy as well, I could cut 1.9 60ft's with street tires, try taking off like your at a stop light and driving normal, just with more RPM say like 3500-4000rpm, so rev up and pulse the throttle between 3500-4000rpm, then let the clutch out like you would driving it normal like you do from stop light.

Or you can do the slip roll dump method like I use, slip the clutch to get the car rolling, then once you feal the car roll out good enough and hook dump the clutch and hammer the gas.

Or method 3, launch at half throttle in 1st gear never go WOT in 1st gear, see how that works, what you need to do is find were the car bogs down, then bring it up from there just a tad to the point were the rpm's won't drop anymore then say 500rpm from what you reved up to.

Good luck man, I am sure you will get it sooner or later, once you do it once, you will be like "WTF!! that was easy as hell, I should have been doing that the whole time"
