r/t, 60ft???? why am i runnin below 90mph e/t?

:confused: whats the deal??? i see you guys out there runnin like 2.3 60 fts and sayin a stock gsx should be low 14ss??? i have reaction times of like.7 and 60' of 1.9 or lower.. best et time 15.09 at 87 mph? whats the deal? do i have a boost leak and if so how do i check it? and also i just installed me injen intake and my turbo is so loud now, i can hear bye boost build up almost louder then the intake itself? is this right? talk to me!!!!!!!!!! and plesae tell me how i can get my pic of my car on my signature, i tried and it never works........ thanx
 
well...RT has NOTHING to do with ET or trap speed. You can sit and stare at the green light for 5 minutes and your ET/speed will stay constant.

Shifting has ALOT to do with getting good ET's; shift VERY quickly, and IF you lift off the gas, get back on it as quick as possible.

If you're running on those 18" chromies in your profile, that is definately hurting you. Try weighing them against the stock wheels/tires. Rotating mass=bad. One of the simplest ways for anyone togo faster is to get lighter wheels and tires.
