I ran my car stock at rt 66 speedway the other day. I wanted to run it once before I did any mods, so I can have something to compare next seasons time to. I ran a 15.5 for my best run. ( hey... its stock and my first time ) My launches still need work but I could see running low 15's. I have Hankook ventus tires. Maybe I will try again in July. My best reaction time was 1.24 which I was pretty happy with. Earlier in the night I was running above 3's for reaction, which was pissing me off. ( putting my times closer to the ultra depressing 16 sec mark ) I hope to get 14.9 or less next time with a few new mods.

So do you launch when you see the final amber? That was the technique I used to get a 1.24. If I waited to see the green it was more like 3. This track uses the new LED type tree BTW. And do you usually deep stage? At this event you obviously dont get stopped for going into the red... so I couldnt see any reason in shooting for earlier rather than latter. Can you deep stage at any event? Any opinions on going for that perfect .005?

14.9 is very possible...I ran 15.8 my first time and I kept at it and ran 14.9@95mph bone stock on 205 all seasons @9psi. I usually let the clutch out and hit the gas right before or on the last light and I ALWAYS cut a .700 r/t. But Id giove up my r/t for a decent 60ft. Try and get a good reaction but first try and bring that time down by learning how to launch and shift and so on... goodluck and keep it up

YELLOW, YELLOW, GO! GREEN usually nets me a lower than .600 RT...or a bright red .4XX RT....work on those launches...RTs are much easier to master ,IMO plus they don't affect your ET.

Thanks guys, I know they don't affect your ET. But if I get a perfect I get a T-shirt! :thumb:

i usually launch then and pull 6's to 7's off the light.
