TSi AWD (auto) vs. 96 Grand Am SE

try not to laugh, my friend thinks that since my car is auto, he's gonna dust me...

i have a 92 Talon TSi AWD w/auto tranny,
he has a 96 grand am SE w/...a 3.1 engine swap
but anyways, he's auto too...any estimations?

ps-this is a $50 race, believe it or not

I raced one of the fastest of the sedans..the grand prix supercharged when I was bone stock. he got a good launch on me(due to traction control), but after about a car length launch I caught up and blew by him. Like he said it will be no contest.

Your friend has got to be kidding.

The only Grand Prix you need to worry about is a GTP. Around 15.0 - 15.3 bone stock, and 13's with just a pulley swap on the supercharger.

Factory-boosted V6 = easy huge HP.

i braked a little to start then just let off it and went...got him 3 car lengths in 1st gear, 2, in 2nd, and by the time we finished we were at around 90 mph and I was a good 7 cars on him...

pretty neat...i feel bad beatin on my car tho
