New DSM owner

I just bought a 98' Eagle Talon Tsi fwd auto that is completey stock and has 125,600 miles on it but its very clean though. I have never owned any DSM before so this is all new to me but not to fast cars as i've owned and built 10 second cars. its in my blood.
I would love to get together with some fellow dsm owners and discuss what i need to do to this this to get to the 250-275hp range. i'm starting to do the basic maintanance now.

we're in the same boat man I've got a ghetto rigged 96 gsx i bought from some 18yr. flex pipe exhaust, arizona iced tea can for the radiator over flow bottle, lime green leaky valve cover. Lol. Let me know if you wanna trade some work for work, ill help you wrench if you help me.
Or if you wanna get together when its nice out im done for that too. im not to far from you.

I've done so far, new tires-oil change-ngk plugs-ngk wires. I am ready to gather the timing belt,bs belt,tensioners,water pump,etc for the rest of the maintanance. Then i will start upping the power level.
