A few months ago I purchased a turbo off of ebay from ******** this person list ebay turbos that have been rebuilt to so called "DRASTICALLY" improve their life. This however, is not true. I ran this same turbo he is showing in this auction (link removed) and the auction was setup the same and looked the same and has the same pictures as when I bought mine. My turbo lasted about 50-100 miles before it just decided the turbines did not need to spin anymore, the shaft would seize, and die. So this is for all of you looking at Ebay turbos even rebuilt ones, DON'T DO IT. It is not worth it. You will thank me later. :beatentodeath:

Did you contact the seller? That should have been your first step. Let the seller do his best to correct the problem before you run to the boards bitching about how your rebuilt turbo died.

Took the words right out of my mouth. :thumb:

OP - Nobody is perfect - mistakes do happen. How is a seller supposed to resolve an issue if it is never brought to their attention?

Also, we don't allow complaints and other forms of feedback here, so I removed the details of your original post.

Well before you did that 99GST... I did follow the link. And I did not know Turbochargers.com was making turbos for MHI as the linked photos clearly indicated. So I think buyers should really pay attention to WHAT is being sold and not HOW MUCH it costs.

what kind of turbo was it, and how much did you pay?

Ya, I should have talked to the seller first, I was just very upset and wasn't thinking I am talking to him now but I don't think he liked this post. It was a rebuilt evo III 16g "ebay" with garrett journal bearings.
