NY inspection, what did you do?

I'm looking to buy a dsm from Jersey, it passed inspection there and I'm pretty sure it needs to be re-inspected in order to get NY plates and insurance. The car has no cats, so it definitely won't pass. Is there anyway to make it pass? I'm from Queens can someone hook me up?

What year is the car? When I bought my car from a guy in CT I needed to get it reinspected for NY but since it's a 95 they didn't need to do the emissions so I was ok. Mind you the "cat" is still there there's just nothing inside it... Same effect as yours but looks legal, just a suggestion...
