You actually need a Maf-T, GM MAF Sensor and the blow thru tubing to do it right. I ordered a receric BOV from sbr and they sent me the wrong one and it was kind of a fight so I just kept the vented forge and my car runs fine. I broke the vacuum line off my stock plastic one by accident. But my car is auto so there is no release of pressure between gears.
